MARY ALPS  of  VIOLET MOON

Mary Alps is a silversmith and the owner of Violet Moon.  She designs one-of-a-kind jewelry with sterling silver, brass, copper and semi-precious gemstones. She has a unique process that includes infusing the stones with Reiki healing energy to enhance the energetic properties of the stones. Many of her brass pieces are torched at an extremely high heat, which brings copper to the surface and results in gold and pink metal. She also carves stainless steel pendants and earrings, then paints them in vibrant shades of alcohol ink that allows them to reflect different colours as they move in the light.
